Check these out enlarged Good morning all, Here are some more aerial photos. I have NO IDEA where these places are.
Some where in the western united states. . I took most of these more for the patterns than for the actual sites. The lady sitting next to me might have thought I had a screw loose, she might be right
I don't fly often enough to not be fascinated by the view out the windows. And one of my favorite things to study from the air is illustrated in your first shot: the patterns of watersheds. Check out how much the water's runoff is patterned exactly like the water distribution system of a leaf. I'm also always amazed that, for example: as large as Chicago seems when driving there, it's small from the air. There is so much open space! ...and yet hardly any of it is untouched by human activity. Thanks for a thought-provoking set of images!
